Geek Anywhere, an information technology consulting company, has opened for business and provides technology support and services to businesses and upscale residences in North Atlanta and North Georgia.
The company's slogan is "Extraordinary Computer Support and Service" and according to Tommy Miller, Geek Anywhere's President and founder, it's not just a catchy phrase.
"My personal motto has been "dare to be different" since the early teens. And that is my intent with Geek Anywhere. In this industry, there seems to be far too much arrogant, impersonable attitude and far too much greed. I founded Geek Anywhere with the concept of providing an experience to clients that is not what they are used to - hence the term "extraordinary".
There is absolutely no reason why a technician or engineer can't provide the client with professional, competent service...and be friendly and personable at the same time. There's no reason why we can't take a few extra minutes to teach a user a tip or trick that will make them more technically astute and thus more productive. There is no reason why a company can't keep overhead low, be good stewards, give back to the community, and charge fair rates.
I don't see how most consulting companies can justify charging residential clients $125 an hour to work on a standalone PC or laptop. My mission is to build long-term trust relationships and grow alongside my clients. The best way to accomplish that is by treating them with fairness, dignity, and respect."
